Indecent Sounds, a newly established French-owned events management company, barreled its way to the championship of the seventh European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines Football Cup at the Nomads Sports Club in Paranaque City over the weekend.
Indecent Sounds controlled thechampionshipgameagainst Lufthansa Technik Philippines team Die Kriinche en route to a 2-0 victory.
Indecent Sounds shocked Lufthansa with a stingy defense that left tournament leading scorer Kolja Friedel, with 11 goals going into the championship game, frustrated.
Meanwhile, center Gaeten Renault scored before the close of the first half and striker Simon Brazy, the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, scored early in the second half.
Indecent Sounds, after suffering an opening game 0-2 loss to Accenture's AFC Fuerza, demolished their opponents with a margin of three goals. Lufthansa also won all its four elimination-round games by at least three goals.
Indecent Sounds exacted revenge on Accenture, 1-0, in the quarterfinals. It then defeated Deutsche Knowledge Services Philippines Jeepney, 3-0, in the semifinal round.
