ABOUT US

We bridge markets and create opportunities for European and Philippine businesses.

Founded in 1978, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is a multilateral chamber with over 900 members and a strong presence across key regions in the Philippines. We advocate for fair and forward-looking economic policies, support market access through expert business consultancy and human capital development, and connect members to a dynamic network of stakeholders locally and abroad to drive growth and foster collaboration across sectors.

OUR POLICY AND ADVOCACY WORK

We shape policies and advocate for reforms that enable fair, sustainable, and competitive markets.

Through regular dialogues with government agencies and the release of timely position papers and whitebooks, we influence key policies and reforms that enhance the ease of doing business and drive regulatory improvements. The Chamber’s 24 sector committees, led by private sector leaders, provide a platform for members to collaborate, address industry-specific challenges, and ensure that the voice of the European-Philippine business community is heard in decisions shaping the economic landscape.

Nicandro Linao

Sta. Clara International Corporation

Not just staying abreast but keeping ahead of the times made ECCP at the forefront of our daily source of input and valuable insights into our business considerations. The current pandemic crisis was proof of ECCP’s continuing efforts to serve its membership. The myriad of information that was imparted to our team through all the forums and webinars that was conducted proved very vital during those early times of uncertainty and apprehension. We will continue to salute ECCP’s dedication to serving the group and our country as a whole.

Gabriel D. Medina

Asian Bridge Express Inc.

I would like to express my unwavering support to all the policies, trainings and advocacies that the ECCP is aiming to successfully achieve; the goal to continuously be a platform of ideas, ideals, and where like-minded individuals and organizations can meet, collaborate and grow. Through the non-stop trainings, seminars and meetings where we discuss, tackle and hopefully find solutions to the problems that we, as a global community, are facing no matter what industry or walk of life. I have no doubt that being part of this community is an asset that my company and I value.

Sarah Mcleod

Q2 HR Solutions

As a long time member of the ECCP when the COVID-19 lockdown began, it was challenging for us all to even think about how our membership would help us. Over the ensuing weeks, I began to rely on the regular updates about what was happening, trusting that the team had done their research. We used the data shared from the research team to assist us in making good business decisions and conversations with the teams in our company. Sharing the latest industry updates with our clients, in turn, helped them.

Mark Anthony Tamayo

Mata-Perez, Tamayo & Francisco

ECCP is the voice of its members on a wide array of economic and business issues, legislative measures and administrative regulations. It is an effective advocate not just to protect the interest of its members, but to fulfill and secure the goals of the country’s national interest. As the current chair of the customs sub-committee, it is gratifying to be accorded the opportunity to share knowledge and experience with the members. Our firm’s membership with the Chamber opened the doors to great network opportunities and resources to people and organizations from diverse industry groups.

Patricia Bunye

Cruz Marcelo & Tenefrancia

I appreciate how ECCP has continued providing many opportunities for professional growth and business development even as we work from home. The various committees are also valuable sources of information and the level of engagement has not diminished even in these challenging times.

Ederine Gee Geneblazo

Rentokil Initial Philippines, Inc.

As a global company based in the UK, being a member of a well-known chamber is a good start. It compliments your reputation and credibility and it also helps in making connections with local and multinational companies in the Philippines. The ECCP has extended more than that, from the steady access of information and policies, industry trends, to the most relevant issues. The ECCP has provided an avenue for opportunities and partnership. We are a proud member of the ECCP and we continue to stay true to our commitment in protecting people and enhancing lives with the help of partners like them.
