The Philippines will be showcased as a retirement haven in a forum dubbed "The Sunrise Industry: Retirement Building Communities / Addressing Lifestyle Expectations" on November 23 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Makati City.
The Retirement Healthcare Coalition (RHC) in partnership with the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) will have retirement industry experts discussing ways of promoting the Philippines as retirement haven new concepts in retirement villages and services needed by the aging community.
The RHC composed of the American, European, Japanese, and Korean chambers of commerce, represents the Philippines' major target markets for its retirement industry.
PRA General Manager Veredigno Atienza, Tourism Assistant Secretary Domingo Ramon Enerio III, RHC Executive Director Marc Daubenbuechel and European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) Vice President for External Affairs Henry Schumacher will be among the guests speakers.
Expected to attend the forum are executives from property companies, sports and leisure organizations, hospitals, resorts, architecture firms, and various government agencies.
The RHC which is chaired by the ECCP, has been continuously identifying and assisting in the development of ideal locations in the country for foreign retirees.
It is also currently conducting a certification program for hospitals and healthcare centers in Metro Manila, Cebu, Clark, Dumaguete, Subic and Tagaytay.
