World's Biggest Rotary Club District to Join Run Against Corruption

The world’s biggest Rotary Club district has agreed to send a contingent to the 2nd Integrity Run today at the Bonifacio Global City Taguig.

Rotary Club District 3810 incoming governor Dr. Karen Tamayo said they will be participating in the second installment of the event organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and the Makati Business Club.

Rotary Club District 3810 is composed of 113 clubs with more than 4,500 members form Cavite, Las Pinas, Makati, Manila, Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Pateros, Pasay, Taguig, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan.

Rotary Club District 3810 over the years has been actively involved in relief operations, environmental awareness programs, child welfare assistance, and other civic campaigns.

The ECCP believes the Integrity Run can demonstrate the commitment of all sectors towards instilling a culture of integrity in the country.

The integrity Run dubbed “I Run for Integrity Towards a New Philippines 2012” is part of the Integrity Initiative project that aims to assist the private and government sectors combat corruption, provide a level playing field for business and society, and improve employment opportunities in the country.
