The ECCP cordially invites all members to a mission organised by OAV and the EZ-Scout Program in cooperation with the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German-ASEAN Business Council and German RETech Partnership e.V. The purpose of the mission is the participation of German companies, especially SMEs, in the “10th Business Opportunities Fair 2019“ (BOF) organised by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The delegation trip will focus on the Philippines and Bangladesh on a regional basis and on waste management and transport sectorally. With Manila and Dhaka, it will consist of two parts and it will take place from March 25-31, 2019.
The program, which starts two days prior to the BOF, will offer you the opportunity to visit an ADB-funded project and the executing agency of the transport sector in Metro Manila. Furthermore, participants will get the chance to gather information on the economic and political situation in the Philippines, to discuss procurement procedures with the Executive Director of the ADB for Germany and the ADB Procurement Director and to attend a dinner at the residence of the German ambassador. Also, bilateral talks will be arranged for you, to help establishing and maintaining important personal contacts with experts and procurement staff of the ADB.
On the following two days, the "10th Business Opportunities Fair 2019" (BOF) will take place. The event is a forum for consultants, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and civil society organizations looking to provide goods, works, and consulting services for ADB projects. The BOF will provide participants with first-hand information on the ADB procurement plans and ADB-funded contracts. More information can be found here.
In Dhaka (March 28-31), the second and optional travel station, participants will get insights into the economic development of Bangladesh. They will have the opportunity to meet with German companies located in the area and to learn more about business opportunities in ADB tenders. Moreover, the ADB-funded City Region Development Project and the executing agency in Jessore will be visited.

The participation fee for the trip is as follows:
1. Stage (Manila): 700 Euro (OAV-/AHK- and RETech-Member), 1.400 Euro (Non-Member)
2. Stage (Dhaka): 300 Euro (OAV-/AHK- and RETech-Member), 600 Euro (Non-Member)
Travel, accommodation and food expenses as well as the arrival and departure to Manila and Dhaka must be borne by the participants themselves.
