The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines has joined hands with Kaya Football Club Academy to stage the 1st Manila Football Cup, a two-day festival featuring age group and corporate teams, this weekend at the Ayala Alabang Country Club Football grounds in Muntinlupa City.
“The ECCP would like to be partner with Kaya in helping boost football in the country,” ECCP vice president Eric Nielsen said on yesterday’s PSA Forum at the Shakey’s Malate branch of Sept. 15-16 event that is expected to lure 1,000 players from close to 150 squads.
Kaya Football Club Academy director Inaki Vicente said among those who will participate in the Open seven-a-side tournament are Kaya standouts Nate burkey, Jason Sabio, Anton Del Rosario and Lexton, who have also suited up for the Philipppine Azkals.
