Citing the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases, here are the establishments it said are not allowed to operate during ECQ.
- Entertainment venues

- Cockpit arenas
- Lotteries
- Indoor sports courts and venues
- Indoor and outdoor tourist attractions
- Venues for meetings, conferences, and exhibitions
- Personal care services (salons, parlors, beauty clinics, etc.)
Staycations, horse racing with off-track betting, and indoor and outdoor dining are also prohibited during ECQ.
Meanwhile, the national government will allow individual outdoor exercise within the vicinity of a person's residence or barangay.
Only virtual religious gatherings will be allowed. Necrological services, wakes, inurnment, and funerals will be limited to immediate family members.
Only authorized persons can travel within Metro Manila (intrazonal) and from the capital region to its nearby provinces of Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite (interzonal).
Iloilo City, Cagayan de Oro City, and Gingoog City are also placed under ECQ until Aug. 7.
The capital region is currently placed under general community quarantine "with heightened and additional restrictions" until Aug. 5. Some establishments such as those for personal care and outdoor tourist attractions are still allowed to operate but only at limited capacity.
