The ECCP is seeking an IT Associate to join the ECCP.

He/she will be responsible for continuously updating the content and design of the ECCP website. The ideal candidate is innovative and strives for improvement and efficiency in all assigned tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participates in technical research and development to enable continued innovation within the infrastructure.

• Create, update, and manage Website Publications

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in the existing system

• Create front-end designs according to specifications

• Ensures codes are maintainable, scalable, and supportable

• Occasionally assist in the setting up and in the fixing of hardware and software problems of ECCP Personnel 

• Provides occasional guidance to ECCP personnel and clients of the IT/Online Publications Department on technical IT matters

Qualifications:

• Has a professional and positive attitude and can work well within a team.

• Has experience in web development using PHP Laravel

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript

• Experience with relational databases and SQL (preferably with MySQL or MariaDB)

• Experience with RESTful API design is a plus

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

• Can complete tasks on a given timeline

• Is good in report management, has analytical skills, knows the value of deadlines, and can work under pressure.
