The Philippine Pavilion officially opened at THAIFEX–Anuga Asia 2026 on May 26, 2026 at Hall 5 of the IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, marking another milestone in showcasing the excellence, innovation, and global competitiveness of Philippine food and beverage products on the international stage.

The opening ceremonies gathered distinguished guests, government representatives, industry leaders, and exhibitors in celebration of the Philippines’ continued participation in one of Asia’s premier international food and beverage trade fairs.

Leading the ribbon-cutting and opening ceremonies were esteemed representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Thailand, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Trade and Industry, THAIFEX–Anuga Asia, and partner organizations supporting the growth of Philippine exports worldwide.

Among the guests of honor present during the opening ceremonies were:

  • H.E. Millicent Cruz Paredes, Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Thailand
  • Ms. Genevieve Guevarra, Assistant Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, representing Hon. Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr., Secretary of Agriculture
  • Ms. Annalyn Lopez, Agriculture Attaché of PAO-Bangkok
  • Ms. Cecilia Angela D. Labadan, Assistant Director of the Export Marketing Bureau, representing Hon. Maria Cristina Aldeguer-Roque, Secretary of Trade and Industry
  • Ms. Maria Emmanuelle S. Burgos, Commercial Counsellor of PTIC-Bangkok

Carrying the theme “Taste of the Philippines,” the Philippine Pavilion proudly features 28 Philippine companies showcasing a diverse range of export-ready products including tropical fruit products, processed seafood, snacks, beverages, ingredients, condiments, and innovative food solutions.

Organized by the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization, Inc. (PHILFOODEX), in collaboration with the DTI-Export Marketing Bureau, the Department of Agriculture, Export Development Council, and Philippine Exporters Confederation, the Philippine Pavilion continues to strengthen the country’s position as a globally competitive source of quality food products.
