Mompreneur Manila, the mompreneur advocacy network of Mommy Mundo, aims to inspire more mom entrepreneurs to get bigger and better through "THINK BIG: The 1st Mompreneur Summit" set on Sept. 15, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Intercontinental Manila Hotel in Makati City.
The first and only business conference for mom entrepreneurs and aspiring business moms, THINK BIG will provide the proper skills and knowledge to either start a business or help take their business to the next level by doing it with a BIG vision and solid mission as a foundation.
THINK BIG’s speakers include key influencers in the worlds of entrepreneurship, marketing, and public relations.
Leading the conference’s roster of speakers is Janice Crisostomo-Villanueva, founder of Mompreneur Manila and Mommy Mundo, managing director of Mommy Matters, and Creative Juice Communications, Inc. She will speak on “The Mompreneurs Movement and Why Mompreneurs Should Think BIG!”
Josiah Go, CEO of Waters Philippines and co-founder of Mansmith & Fielders, will delve on the complexities of brand building and personal branding.
Amor Maclang, director for communications of award-winning communications agency, GeiserMaclang Marketing Communications, Inc., will guide emerging mompreneurs through the worlds of marketing and public relations.
With most businesses now going online, Janette Toral’s session on “E-Commerce and Social Media Techniques to Build your Business” is certainly something to look forward to. She is the founder of DigitalFilipino.com and the author of various books on e-commerce.
Anton Diaz, one of the country’s most followed bloggers, will discuss how mompreneurs can create an online persona as well as how they can find a vision beyond themselves. Anton is the founder and publisher of www.ourawesomeplanet.com. He also teaches Professional Blogging and Internet Marketing at the Asia Institute of Management.
Mompreneur Jen Tan, owner of Like Minds, Inc., makers of Next9 products, and co-founder of LATCH and the Filipino Association of Babywears (FAB), will reveal practical time management strategies for all types of mom entrepreneurs while Krie Reyes-Lopez, founder of Messy Bessy, manufacturer and wholesaler of non-toxic, all-natural and environment-friendly household cleaners, will share her “Social Mompreneurship” experience with conference participants, and talk about how her venture achieved profitability while helping protect the environment and giving back to the community
