One of the biggest challenges for any employer is navigating the office place – a melting pot of different people from varying backgrounds with a plethora of personality types. How do you appeal to everyone? How do you keep morale high? What is the secret to running an effective workplace?

Second, spending time with your family, you'll probably end up spending more time working than anything else you do for the rest of your life (besides sleeping). Many of us spend more time with the people we work with than the people we live with during the five-day workweek. So, it shouldn't be too surprising that our workplace relationships tend to be very important to our overall quality of life.

This course will arm you with the knowledge and capability to build effective and long-term work relationships.

At the end of the 8-hour program, the participants will be able to:

  1. Learn about the different relationship types that can help prepare you to form your own professional connections.
  2. Learn the functions relationships serve, identifying the characteristics that distinguish one relationship from another.
  3. Understand how power dynamics function and how to harness that power for higher productivity and positive interactions in your company.
  4. Learn about the different types of peer-co-worker relationships.
  5. Evaluate the positives and negatives of workplace relationships.
