The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), in collaboration with BDB Law, is organizing the BDB Law x ECCP Tax Info Session, with the theme "Navigating VAT on Digital Services: Your Compliance Guide" on August 20, 2025 in SPACES Worldplaza, BGC, Taguig City.

The session will provide participants with a clear understanding of the fundamentals of Value-Added Tax (VAT) on digital services, its implementation, and common compliance challenges. The session will cover the basics of the tax, including its scope, coverage, and transactions affected, followed by a discussion on implementation requirements such as registration, invoicing, reporting/payment, and other administrative procedures. It will also address compliance issues, highlighting common pitfalls, risk areas, and practical strategies to ensure adherence to the law. Designed for non-resident digital service providers and their Philippine-based customers, this session aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the evolving VAT landscape effectively.
