Foreign-Based Chambers of Commerce/Diplomatic Missions

KOREAN-GERMAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

The KGCCI was established in 1981. The chamber has the task of promoting economic relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Korea. The chamber: provides information, advice and market studies; acts as an agent for the further development of business links between firms of the two countries; paves the way for and fosters contacts between interested business circles of both countries; represents the economic interests of German and Korean businessmen in dealings with governmental departments, public authorities and other organizations in both countries; collects and distributes information on the economic situation in Germany and Korea and reports on economic developments through E-mail Newsletters, annual reports etc.; organizes press conferences, information seminars, symposia and discussions and participates in such events to the extent that they are compatible with the purpose of the chamber; furnishes information on sales, procurement and investment possibilities in both countries; mediates in any disputes between those involved in bilateral trade and pursues any other lawful activity that serves the purpose of the chamber.
