Luncheon Meeting with Philippine Competition Commission Chairman Arsenio M. Balisacan

Membership Meeting

Competition policies have long been part of the regulatory environment governing market economies. In the Philippines, the Philippine Competition Act signed in 2015 aims to harmonize the widely fragmented competition-related laws at that time and to establish a central governing body that will enforce this landmark legislation to advance consumer welfare, foster innovation, and increase global competitiveness.

Join us for a membership luncheon meeting with Philippine Competition Commission Chairman Arsenio M. Balisacan as he talks about easing foreign investment restrictions in the country to level the playing field, priority industries that will significantly impact consumers in 2019, and other plans and priorities of the competition watchdog.
